Services

When survival has been your only mode, therapy offers something radical — the safety to imagine something more.

At Overture Therapy, we meet you where you are — in the aftermath, the in-between, or the beginning. Our work is rooted in trauma-informed care and shaped by creativity, cultural nuance, and a deep respect for your pace. Whether you're navigating personal healing, family complexity, or the demands of a creative life, we offer therapy that’s spacious, collaborative, and attuned to what matters most to you.

Individual Therapy

Adults and Adolescents

Individual therapy is a space to slow down, listen inward, and reconnect with what’s been buried or pushed aside. Our therapists work with adults and adolescents navigating trauma, anxiety, mood challenges, perfectionism, identity questions, and self-worth. Sessions are tailored to your nervous system’s needs — whether that means traditional talk therapy, expressive or movement-based work, or quiet, reflective processing.

For teens, therapy offers a creative container where they can be seen without pressure or performance. Our team brings a grounded presence and draws from trauma-informed approaches like drama therapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and somatic practices to support emotional regulation, self-expression, and personal agency.

Couples Therapy

Support for couples in all stages of connection — building, repairing, or parting

When a relationship is caught in cycles of tension, silence, distance, or resentment, therapy can offer a path forward. We help couples work through conflict, rebuild trust, and improve communication, especially when trauma, neurodivergence, parenting stress, or cultural differences are shaping the relationship.

We also offer couples counseling that is specifically designed to support LGBTQIA+ relationships. Our team includes clinicians who are not only affirming, but also trained to understand the layered experiences that can come with navigating identity, family expectations, and partnership in a world that is not always welcoming. This care is intentional, informed, and rooted in real experience.

Sessions provide a space to explore what is happening beneath the surface: unmet needs, old wounds, and the ways two nervous systems are trying to connect. The goal is not to fix each other. The goal is to create more presence, clarity, and emotional safety between you.

Parent Coaching

Support for parenting, caregiving, and complex family dynamics

You love your child. And sometimes that love is complicated. When your child is struggling with:

  • Developmental delays

  • Mental health challenges

  • Intense emotions

  • Behaviors that feel overwhelming

  • Addiction

…it can be hard to know how to help without losing yourself in the process.

Our therapists offer compassionate support for parents and caregivers navigating this kind of emotional terrain. Whether you are parenting a child with big feelings, caring for someone with special needs, or trying to hold a boundary while staying present, therapy provides space to process what is hard, reconnect with your values, and show up in a way that feels both loving and sustainable.

We also work with siblings and other family members who feel overlooked in the caregiving process. This includes those quietly absorbing the emotional weight of someone else’s struggle. This work is about you too. Your needs, your limits, and your healing matter.

Coaching for Creatives

Therapy-informed coaching for artists, writers, performers, and creative professionals

Creative people often carry tender internal worlds — rich imaginations, sharp self-critics, and a longing to be seen without being too exposed. Our coaching for creatives blends emotional insight with practical tools to help artists, performers, writers, and entrepreneurs navigate the vulnerable terrain of making and sharing their work.

This space is for creatives who are navigating:

  • Perfectionism or fear of failure

  • Rejection sensitivity or imposter syndrome

  • Identity shifts, transitions, or burnout

  • Getting stuck in cycles of productivity or avoidance

Together, you’ll explore how your inner world connects to your creative one — and how to move forward with more clarity and courage.

Executive Coaching

Confidential support for high performers navigating pressure, transition, and purpose

Success often brings complexity. Many high achievers are managing intense demands while quietly struggling with fatigue, doubt, or a sense that something is missing. Coaching creates space to slow down and think clearly without judgment or performance.

Together, we look at what is fueling your drive and what it may be costing you. This process is not about quick fixes or productivity hacks. It is about aligning your leadership with your values, strengthening your capacity to make decisions with clarity, and finding more ease in how you move through the world.
