Therapy for the modern mother
Sometimes motherhood feels like being crowded out of your own life.
You love it. You're also sitting on the floor of the nursery, wondering where you went. Therapy for the mother who has run out of herself.
Serving Scarsdale, Rye, White Plains, and all of NY
You are the architect of your family’s emotional world.
You have read the books. You are building a home safer than the one you knew.
But being the emotional anchor is exhausting. You are holding everyone else together, often at the cost of yourself.
It is hard to regulate a child’s nervous system when yours feels like a live wire.
A space where you don’t have to be "on."
What we do differently:
Go Beyond Logic
We don't just talk about anxiety. We use creative and somatic tools to help your body feel safe again.
Heal the Roots
We distinguish between what belongs to your parents and what actually belongs to you.
Honest Repair
We make space for the anger, grief, and exhaustion you are usually forced to hide.
Mother. Therapist. Creative. Human.

FAQ
What you might be wondering
-
We specialize in trauma-informed psychotherapy for mothers carrying anxiety alongside the daily weight of motherhood. Whether you're moving through the perinatal season, parenting young children, or noticing patterns that no longer serve you, our clinicians draw from Internal Family Systems (IFS), depth psychology, and psychodynamic work to support emotional regulation, self-expression, and personal agency.
-
Most of the mothers who find us are navigating some version of the same loop: anxiety that hums underneath the day, burnout that doesn't ease with rest, identity questions that surface in motherhood, parenting stress, perinatal mood challenges, and the imprint of past trauma. If any of that sounds familiar, you're in the right place.
-
All of our sessions are held virtually through secure video platforms, which means therapy can happen during nap time, after bedtime, or in the quiet hour you carve out for yourself. Clients must reside in New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, or Pennsylvania to begin care.
-
We are an out-of-network practice and don't bill insurance directly. Insurance plans tend to enforce session-length caps and treatment timelines that constrain how this kind of work unfolds. Staying out-of-network is how we preserve the pacing and depth the work requires. There are a few ways we make this workable. Sliding scale spots are available based on need. We provide detailed superbills you can submit for out-of-network reimbursement, and depending on your plan, this can cover a meaningful portion of the session fee. If finances are what's keeping you from booking, please bring that to your free consultation. We'll walk you through what's possible.
-
Trauma-informed therapy means we center safety, choice, and collaboration in every session. Many mothers don't think of themselves as having trauma, even when they're carrying the weight of difficult births, medical experiences, family-of-origin patterns, or the ongoing tax of caregiving. This approach honors your nervous system, recognizes how past experiences shape the present, and works at a pace that respects you. The goal is for you to feel empowered, supported, and seen.

"You are allowed to want peace without having to earn it through self-sacrifice.
The version of you that you are trying to hide? That might actually be the one who needs our attention most."
